Chris Brown has reacted after the Golden Globes rejected the Michael movie’s submission.

It was submitted for the musical or comedy category. The committee decided that the musical performances didn’t contribute enough to moving the story forward, meaning the film wouldn’t qualify under their rules.

Honestly, I find that quite interesting because Michael is a film about one of the biggest music stars ever, so you’d naturally expect them to want it in that category.

But apparently, featuring plenty of songs isn’t enough to qualify as a musical under the Golden Globes’ criteria.

And what stood out to me is how this could affect Jaafar’s chances of winning an award.

He would now have to compete in the Best Drama Actor category instead, which could mean facing tougher competition.

The studio is reportedly considering appealing the decision before the October 30 deadline, so the category isn’t necessarily settled yet.

But Chris Brown has now reacted to the decision himself.

Underneath a post discussing the rejection, he commented: “Hope there’s a good reason”.

I actually think that’s a fair question. The committee has given its reasoning, but I can understand why people want to know more about how the film was assessed.

Before you go, I wanna know, should Michael have qualified?
