David Walliams has reacted after being removed from another film project amid allegations about his behaviour.
According to TMZ, David is no longer attached to The Road to Nevermore. He was on a preliminary cast list, but hadn’t signed a contract, so his involvement was never finalised.
This follows HarperCollins deciding to stop publishing his new and existing books. Reports also said YMU was no longer actively representing him.
David denies wrongdoing and says he wasn’t given an opportunity to respond to the publisher’s investigation.
Honestly, I can understand companies being concerned about working with him. But I just wish we could have him give a public message about what he says exactly happened.
We did, however, hear from one source who said: “David is incredibly upset that he’s been removed from another project. He feels like his career is being damaged before he’s had a proper opportunity to address the allegations, and he’s frustrated that companies are distancing themselves from him. He understands why they’re concerned about the publicity, but thinks the decision is unfair.”
Before you go, I wanna know… do you think David deserves to lose work? Or do you think that he did nothing wrong?
