Travis Scott has responded after being allegedly turned away from Drake’s birthday party.
The story started after DJ Akademiks claimed that Travis and another person arrived at Drake’s party, but weren’t allowed inside.
He also claimed they then invited a group of girls to leave with them before heading to another event instead.
Honestly, I can imagine how awkward that would have been if it actually happened, especially considering Travis and Drake have worked together on several songs.
And I think that’s what makes this story interesting, because people are naturally going to wonder whether there’s been some sort of argument between them.
But at the same time, I don’t think being turned away from one party would automatically mean there’s an issue between Travis and Drake. It could just be that he forgot to put them on the guest list, and he wasn’t there in-person to let them inside.
And Travis has now responded to the claims himself.
Underneath a post discussing the alleged incident, he commented: “Never happened”.
To me, that’s a pretty clear denial, and I actually think it’s worth taking seriously rather than assuming the original story is true.
