Kelly Clarkson has reacted after Paul Rudd visited the Brooklyn magic shop she previously had a disagreement with.
Paul was spotted at Art of Play, inspecting a sign inside and joking about looking for evidence. His visit caught people’s attention because of the shop’s connection to Kelly.
Honestly, I think the funny part is how he turned checking out a sign into a bit of detective work. It’s such an ordinary thing to do, but joking about evidence makes it sound like he’s arrived to get to the bottom of the disagreement.
I can also see why people enjoyed him getting involved. Someone else visiting the shop might not have attracted much attention, but Paul playing investigator gives the story a funny new moment.
Now Kelly has responded underneath a post about his visit, commenting, “Gotta love the guy”.
I read that as her enjoying the joke. She’s responding warmly to Paul, and I think that keeps the exchange light without restarting her disagreement with the shop.
I do see people saying that Kelly shouldn’t have reacted to what he did, but I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.
