Piper Rockelle has responded after being filmed looking bored after meeting two young fans.
In the video, Piper appears annoyed before walking away, and viewers have been questioning whether she wanted to meet them at all.
Honestly, I can understand why people noticed her expression. If you’re excited to meet someone you follow, you’d hope they looked happy to see you too. A reaction like that could leave you feeling embarrassed for asking.
But I wouldn’t decide she treats her fans badly from a few seconds of footage. She could have been distracted or ready to leave, and neither would mean she disliked the people beside her.
What I’d be more interested in is how the two fans felt about the meeting. People watching might think it looked awkward, but that doesn’t tell us whether they left disappointed or were happy they got to meet her.
Now Piper has commented underneath a post about the criticism, writing, “Absolutely not. I love you guys”.
I think she’s rejecting the idea that she was annoyed with them. I can see why she’d want to clear that up, although people who thought the clip looked rude probably won’t change their minds from that reply alone.
