Jennifer Aniston has broken down and cried after watching the new Matthew Perry documentary on Netflix.
I saw that the doc looks back at his struggles and his efforts to get better. His sister said he spent seven million trying to get better.
But the detail about Chandler and Monica’s wedding on Friends really got to me.
Matthew’s family and friends attended because they thought it might be their only chance to see him get married. His sister admitted she wondered whether it was as close to a wedding as he would ever get.
I find that so sad. For viewers, it was a happy moment for Chandler, but his family were watching with very different thoughts about Matthew.
A source has now revealed how Jen feels. In their message, they said:: “Jennifer Aniston was in tears watching the documentary. Seeing Matthew again and hearing people talk about his struggles brought back so many emotions.
The source carried on and said: “She still misses him terribly, and there were moments she found incredibly difficult to watch. It reminded her of how much he went through, but also how funny and wonderful he could be. She’s grateful that people haven’t forgotten him, although watching it was heartbreaking for her.”
