DDG has responded to Halle Bailey calling him out after their son unexpectedly appeared on his livestream.
The moment happened while DDG was live, when his son walked into the camera’s view. Fans haven’t seen his face for almost two years, so it was an unexpected moment for people watching.
Halle and DDG have largely kept their son out of the public eye, which makes the brief appearance even more noticeable. I can understand why viewers were surprised, but I can also see why Halle might not have wanted the moment broadcast in the first place.
Halle then commented underneath a post showing the clip, writing, “he needs to be off camera!”
And DDG didn’t leave her comment unanswered. He replied directly underneath it, saying, “Obviously an accident”.
I think that reply is important because DDG wasn’t deliberately putting their son in front of viewers. From what we can see, he simply walked into the room while the livestream was happening.
At the same time, Halle’s reaction shows that keeping their son’s face private is still important to her.
