The Sidemen are speaking out after KSI admitted that the way he left the Sidemen wasn’t the best.
First up, Miniminter said, “After all these years, it’s obviously sad how things ended.”
Next, Vikkstar said, “I think everyone would’ve preferred a different ending”
Next, Behzinga said, “It’s a shame, man. We’ve been through so much together”
JJ explained that things had reached a point where he had to make a choice and felt it was time to move on. But leaving a group he’d been part of for years was never going to be a small thing, especially with fans wanting to understand what happened behind the scenes.
KSI wanted people to hear his side directly rather than judge the situation only by what they saw publicly. He also admitted he would’ve liked a proper send-off, which suggests the ending wasn’t quite how he wanted it to be.
KSI said, “Obviously, I wanted a proper send-off, and all this and all that. But guys, I’m telling you it wasn’t on the cards.”
I think that’s the key part of his explanation. He isn’t saying he made the wrong decision to leave, but he does seem to recognise that the ending could’ve been different. He also pointed out that what happened publicly wasn’t necessarily the same as what happened privately, so there’s still context we don’t know.
