Towie rhymes with Howie
Chloe Sims is in talks to return to Towie for a brand new spin-off, four years after leaving.
Chloe quit in 2022 after 11 years on the show. She’s now held meetings with producers about a series where familiar faces would discuss their personal struggles with therapists, although she hasn’t confirmed she’ll take part.
Honestly, I think this could be a good way for her to return. She’d be back in the Towie world without necessarily going straight into another argument or falling-out.
We’ve seen so much of her love life and family disagreements over the years, but hearing her talk about how those experiences affected her could be more interesting than watching another argument.
I’d also be curious to hear what she thinks about that period now she’s had a few years away. Looking back on something can feel very different from discussing it while you’re still caught up in it.
A source spoke out and said: “Chloe was intrigued as it’s different from the regular show, and more focused on mental health and wellness, which she is really into.”
To me, that sounds like the format is what’s tempting her back. I can understand that, although I’d want the conversations to feel honest rather than staged, like how the show usually feels.
