Many celebrities have reacted after Jay-Z was announced as the headliner for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.
First up, 50 Cent said, “So he finally picked himself?”
Next, Cardi B said, “He better bring Beyoncé out”.
Next, Rick Ross said, “The biggest stage in the world. Congratulations to my brother”.
And finally, Snoop Dogg said, “Congratulations”.
Through Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL, he’s helped shape the performances, but now he’ll be the headline act himself.
Honestly, I think he has more than enough songs for it. The challenge will be deciding what to leave out, especially when he’s celebrating 30 years of music.
He’ll follow Bad Bunny’s performance this year and Kendrick Lamar’s in 2025, so expectations will be high.
But I’m most curious about the guests. Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Doctor Dre, and Snoop Dogg have appeared at his recent anniversary shows, and any of them joining him would get people talking.
Personally, I’d love Beyoncé to come out. They have so much music together, although I’d still want Jay’s own songs to get plenty of time.
In a message to the public, Jay said, “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”
Before you go, I wanna know… who should Jay-Z bring out during the halftime show?
