Mason Thames has responded after claims surfaced that McKenna Grace turned down his invitation to attend Comic-Con with him, and chose to go out with Joseph Zada instead.
A source claimed that Mason had invited McKenna to attend the event with him, but she declined and chose to spend time with Joseph instead. That quickly sparked speculation about who she wanted to be with.
I can see why people started talking, especially with fans paying attention to McKenna and Joseph’s connection. But being seen with someone doesn’t automatically mean someone else has been rejected, and I think people are jumping to conclusions without knowing what actually happened.
It’s easy for fans to turn a situation like this into a love triangle, even when they don’t know what was said between the people involved or whether the original story was accurate.
Mason has now addressed the claims himself, and his response was surprisingly brief. Underneath a post about the situation, he commented, saying, “false”
I think that says enough. Mason directly shut down the story, so I wouldn’t take the claim that McKenna chose Joseph over him as fact.
