Katie Price has reacted after Junior Andre admitted he spent all his music money and had to work on the London Underground.
Junior shared the story on Celebrity Race Across the World, where he’s competing with his sister Princess. He said people assume he lives off his parents, but he doesn’t want to depend on them.
After receiving a large payment from his first single, he spent the lot and found himself needing a job.
He ended up working nights on the Piccadilly line, doing wiring and carrying heavy materials from 10pm until 6am.
Honestly, I think that deserves some credit. Spending all the money was a mistake, but taking on a demanding night shift instead of expecting his parents to cover everything sounds like a sensible thing to do.
I saw that Junior also said the experience taught him to budget, right down to planning his weekly food shop.
Now Katie has commented underneath a post about his confession, writing, “He needs to learn the value of money”.
I agree with the point, and I definitely think he’s learning. He ran out of money, went to work and says he learnt to budget. Because of this, I can definitely see that he’s changing a lot.
