Ethan Slater threw shade on Ariana Grande after they broke up, and it seems he’s still annoyed.
Ariana and Ethan have been quietly separated for several months now. It’s a bit surprising since they seemed so close.
Sources close to both say the separation is amicable and that they remain friends who support each other. They gave the choice careful consideration before deciding to end the romance.
The sources also say that Ariana’s new album was not inspired by the separation at all, and the music is not about Ethan.
Now Ethan has stepped in and left a comment under a quote that said, “When one door closes, another opens; But we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” He said, “Absolutely”.
To me, it seems like he has already moved on and does not really care. This definitely sounded a bit cold. But maybe he just wants everyone to know he’s doing okay, and doesn’t want fans to worry about him.
Sources have also said that Ariana and Ethan did not begin dating until after both marriages had ended. Even though they’re saying this, I don’t think anyone believes them.
