Manon has reacted after Lara got emotional while performing Unlove U during Katseye’s concert.
A clip from the show shows Lara sitting at the piano, trying to play the opening chords before suddenly stopping. She quietly said, “No”, covered her face and took a moment to compose herself.
She then apologised to the crowd, saying, “I’m sorry, let’s try that again.” The audience immediately cheered her on, and Lara managed to continue.
But it was more than just a mistake with the song. Lara later explained that she was having a difficult time and that UnloveU had taken on a new meaning for her. She even asked the audience to give her some extra support while singing it.
I can understand why the clip made people emotional. It’s difficult enough to get through a personal moment, let alone have it happen in front of thousands of people while you’re performing.
And now Manon has shown her support too. Underneath a post about Lara’s performance, she commented, “lara you’re so perfect. I love you”.
I think that’s such a nice message, especially with Manon currently away from the group. It’s nice to see her still supporting them.
