Brooklyn Beckham has broken his silence after deleting a photo of Nicola Peltz and Damian Hurley.
Brooklyn and Nicola went to a Halloween party in Los Angeles dressed as Superman and Catwoman. Damian was there too, and one photo showed him with his arm around Nicola while Brooklyn stood beside them.
People joked that Brooklyn was third-wheeling, while others suggested Nicola and Damian looked better suited. Brooklyn deleted the picture just hours after posting it.
An insider said Brooklyn was embarrassed by the comments and felt people were mocking his marriage. They added that he and Nicola are deeply in love, and he didn’t like people suggesting she was better suited to Damian.
I can understand why that would get to him, especially when one party photo became a judgement about his relationship.
The source also said Brooklyn sees Damian as a brother. They’ve been close since childhood, and Elton John and David Furnish are godparents to both of them.
Brooklyn has now responded underneath a post about the situation, writing: “How is this even a thing?”
I think people have made far too much out of one photograph, and I can definitely see why he’s annoyed.
