Alix Earle has responded after being accused of snubbing Dancing With the Stars following her feud with Val.
Alix finished in second place with Val during Season 34, but she hasn’t been back to the ballroom this season. That’s stood out because former contestants, celebrities and family members have all been turning up to support this year’s cast.
A source said that Alix has become much bigger since the show and no longer feels she needs to post about it. They also said she’s grateful for what the experience did for her career, but is ready to move on from that chapter.
The source added that Alix and Val aren’t particularly close now and don’t speak regularly.
I can understand why her absence has raised questions, especially after making it so far, but I don’t think former contestants should feel obliged to return every season.
Alix has now addressed it herself. Underneath a post about her absence, she commented, “I’m just super busy these days. Nothing more”.
That’s a pretty direct explanation, and she hasn’t suggested there’s any drama with Val or the show. I wouldn’t assume there’s been a falling-out simply because she hasn’t visited.
