Kylie Jenner has reacted after Lisa Rinna recreated her King Kylie look for Halloween.
Lisa wore a bright orange outfit with long black hair, dramatic makeup and layered silver jewellery, bringing back one of Kylie’s most recognisable looks.
Honestly, I think she got it right. The styling makes it clear who she’s dressed as, and the jewellery helps pull the whole thing together.
I like that she chose a specific era too. King Kylie had such a distinct look that Lisa could recreate it without needing to explain the costume.
It’s also quite funny seeing Lisa take it on. She committed to the hair and makeup as well as the outfit, which is what makes it work for me. If you’re dressing as someone with such a recognisable image, those details matter.
And now Kylie has seen the transformation herself.
Underneath a post showing Lisa’s costume, she commented, “you won”.
I think that’s about the best response Lisa could have hoped for. You can have everyone else saying you look good, but getting approval from the person you’re dressed as must feel even better.
I’d put this among the stronger celebrity costumes because you can tell who she’s meant to be straight away.
