Carl has responded after a comment linked to Aniya claimed he was unfaithful during their trip to Miami.
The comment suggested Carl had been with another woman while they were away together, and it quickly received more than 33,000 likes.
Considering people were already questioning their relationship, I can see why this got so much attention. But the problem is that everyone started treating the comment as something Aniya had actually said.
People then questioned whether the comment was even real, suggesting someone might have edited it to make Carl look worse.
And honestly, if that’s what happened, I think it’s pretty unfair. Carl was already getting criticism online, and now there’s another story about him that people are believing without knowing where it came from.
Now Carl has chimed in himself.
Underneath a post discussing the Miami story, he wrote, “This is edited”.
I think this is pretty sad for him that this happened. He’s been getting loads of backlash for something he didn’t do. And it seems like nobody feels bad for him at all. Hopefully now people change their minds about him and leave him alone.
