Tyler Herring has reacted after a joke in his video with Trinity Covington upset everybody.
I saw his caption, which said, “POV, the doctor said she still isn’t doing something.” Tyler said it was all jokes and that he was trying to lighten the mood and calm their nerves while they waited.
But some viewers thought Trinity looked annoyed and felt the joke was unfair when she might already have been nervous about the appointment.
Others thought she was holding back a laugh and said people were taking a joke between the couple too seriously.
Honestly, I can understand why the wording bothered people. Suggesting someone isn’t doing enough for their kid could feel upsetting, especially during an anxious moment.
But Trinity looking uncomfortable to some viewers doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how she felt. Other people watched the same clip and saw someone trying not to smile.
Now, underneath a post about the backlash, he’s commented saying, “What don’t people get mad about these days?”
Tyler obviously wants people to stop criticising him and wants people to understand it was just a joke, but I don’t think most people will believe him.
Before you go, I wanna know… was Tyler just trying to lighten the mood, or was this the wrong moment for that joke?
