Liam Gallagher has reacted after Noel admitted he’s had to learn to compromise while working with his brother again.
On Chicken Shop Date, Noel was asked what advice he’d give someone working with a sibling. After everything that’s happened between him and Liam, I think he’s got plenty of experience to draw from.
He said, “I think you’ve got to be prepared just to compromise, which is something I’m not ordinarily very good at. But I think it gets easier as you get older.”
Honestly, I appreciate him admitting that. If neither of them was willing to budge, I can’t imagine getting Oasis back together would’ve been easy.
I’d also be interested to know what he actually compromised on. Saying you’re more willing to meet someone halfway is one thing, but I wonder which decisions they still struggle to agree on.
Now Liam has replied underneath a post about the interview, writing, “Who wouldn’t want to work with me?”
I think that’s such a funny response. Noel’s talking about learning to compromise, and Liam’s acting like working with him should be a privilege.
To me, it sounds like he’s having a laugh with Noel rather than taking offence. And I’d much rather see them joking about working together than arguing over why they can’t.
