Jenna Ortega has finally spoken out about the flower fan incident while she was in London promoting her new film.
In the clip, Jenna is handed a rose, but someone nearby quickly warns her, “Don’t take the flower. Don’t take his flower.” The warning came amid claims that the fan had done something bad to the flower before trying to give it to her.
Jenna looks uncomfortable and hands the rose straight to her security instead of keeping it. I can understand why she wouldn’t want to accept something from a stranger after hearing that warning.
Obviously this was a gross thing to happen, and I’m surprised she carried on interacting with everyone after it. I think most people would’ve just gone home after that.
A source has now shared Jenna’s reaction, saying, “Jenna is absolutely disgusted that someone would think it’s acceptable to say something like that to her in public. She doesn’t understand why anyone would think speaking to a woman that way is funny or acceptable.”
I think this goes beyond an awkward fan interaction and, to be fair, this is probably one of the worst fan interactions ever.
