Harry Lewis has reacted after KSI said that the Sidemen environment was toxic.
KSI admitted that leaving was an impulsive decision, but he wanted to announce it himself rather than let someone else control the story.
He also explained that the environment had become toxic for him, although he made it clear he doesn’t wish the boys or their staff anything bad. He even said, “I hold no anger or envy or jealousy towards them.”
I actually think that makes the whole situation sadder. After spending so many years building something together, it’s difficult to imagine everyone simply moving on as if nothing happened.
KSI also insisted that both sides are happier now. Leaving has given him more freedom to focus on his own goals, while the Sidemen can make their own decisions about videos, brand deals and content.
But Harry has now weighed in underneath a post about KSI’s comments, asking, “Why talk about this so much?”
In my opinion, I think it’s fine that JJ is talking about this, but I can see why some people would interpret it all as attention seeking.
