Fontaines D.C. React To Liam Gallagher Saying They Are Not Good Enough To Support Oasis

Fontaines D.C. have responded after Liam Gallagher said they weren’t good enough to support Oasis on tour.

The disagreement started after Carlos O’Connell and Conor Deegan questioned the Oasis reunion, with Conor suggesting that focusing too much on nostalgia was stopping people from creating something new.

And Liam clearly wasn’t happy when a fan suggested Fontaines D.C. should open for Oasis. He responded with insults, saying the band weren’t good enough and didn’t have any tunes.

Honestly, I think that’s a pretty harsh way to dismiss a band that’s built such a big following of its own.

But I also think it’s interesting that Fontaines D.C. aren’t all necessarily against Oasis. Some members have been more critical of the reunion than others, so I wouldn’t assume the entire band shares the same opinion.

And considering Liam’s history of speaking his mind, I can’t say I’m surprised he responded so directly.

But now, Fontaines D.C. have reacted to what Liam said about their music.

Underneath a post discussing what Liam said, they simply commented: “Charming”.

Before you go, I wanna know, do you think Fontaines D.C. are good enough to open for Oasis, or do you agree with Liam’s criticism?
