Dylan Sprouse has reacted to people saying he was performative after enthusiastically cheering on Barbara Palvin at the VS show.
He stood up in the crowd, clapped for Barbara and even took out his phone to film her. I actually think it’s nice seeing someone be that openly proud of their partner, but not everyone saw it that way.
Some people think Dylan was being performative and trying to get attention. I can understand why the footage got people talking, because he was making his support very visible. But that doesn’t automatically mean he was doing it for the cameras.
Barbara has her own successful career, and Dylan has supported her for years, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with him making it known that he’s happy for her.
Still, most people are saying that he was being performative.
Dylan then commented underneath the post about him cheering Barbara on, saying, “I just love her too much”.
For me, that sums it up. Some people might find his reaction over the top, but he wants everyone to know that he’s being genuine and was just excited to see her.
Before you go, I wanna know… is Dylan simply being a supportive husband, or do you think he was putting on a show for the cameras?
