Carl has responded after Aniya’s comments fuelled rumours that they’ve broken up.
Aniya was asked about Carl at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but didn’t say whether they were still together. Instead, she said they were focusing on work and that she was happy and excited about everything.
Honestly, I can understand why that answer raised questions. If someone asks about your relationship and you start talking about work, it can sound like you’re avoiding giving an update.
People also noticed they were no longer following each other. Claims that Aniya’s sisters had unfollowed Carl also made it seem like there might have been a bigger falling-out.
But her sister Angel challenged that, commenting, “I literally follow Carl, I’m confused”.
I think that’s worth mentioning, because people were using the supposed family unfollows to support the breakup rumours, and Angel is saying that part doesn’t apply to her.
Now Carl has commented underneath a post about the speculation, writing, “The endless rumors are exhausting”.
To me, he sounds fed up, but I don’t think that response will stop the questions. He’s saying the rumours are exhausting without actually saying whether they’re wrong.
