Aniya has finally broken her silence on the rumors that she split up with Carl.
The rumours started when fans noticed that Kayda had unfollowed Carl on Instagram. Aniya’s sisters were also said to have unfollowed him, adding to questions about the couple’s relationship.
I can understand why people started wondering if something had happened, but following lists alone don’t confirm a breakup. It could simply be that they’re deciding to be more private with their relationship.
The speculation grew when Aniya was asked at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show how she and Carl were doing. She replied, “Really, just focused on our work right now, just building that up, so I’m just really happy to be here at the show. I’m so excited for everything.”
That didn’t give people a clear update, so questions about the relationship carried on.
Now Aniya has responded underneath a post about the speculation, commenting, “this is creepy at this point”.
I can see why she feels that way. Tracking the following lists of a couple’s family and friends can really feel intrusive, so I’m not surprised that she’s annoyed.
