Ami Charlize has spoken out after concerns grew over her move to Plymouth to live with her boyfriend, Oliver.
Ami, who is 19, moved six hours from home after Oliver was loaned to Plymouth Argyle from Tottenham. Explaining why she wanted to go with him, she said, “I just love being with my boyfriend because I actually do love my boyfriend.”
But just a month into the move, Ami admitted she felt lonely when Ollie was out training or making other plans. She said, “I just feel a little bit lonely. I think it’s because Ollie’s been out like all day.”
I can understand why people have concerns. Moving away at 19 is a big decision, especially when Ami has her Pilates studio near her home and still travels back for work. But she’s also old enough to decide how she wants to manage her relationship.
There’s also been speculation about family tension, but Ami pushed back, saying, “My family are my absolute world and have been nothing but supportive of me and Oli.”
Her family have also said they’re proud of her and support her decisions, suggesting the move hasn’t caused a family fallout.
