Priya has reacted to Aiden asking Maya Jama for a smooch on Aftersun, and this wasn’t the reaction I was expecting.
Aiden appeared on the spin-off show alongside Priya after they were dumped from the villa together. Behind the scenes, Maya shared a video joking that Aiden was “just a little bit annoying sometimes” before things suddenly took an awkward turn.
As everyone was laughing together, Aiden turned to Maya and said, “Come on, give me a smooch.” Maya immediately backed away with a shocked expression, and the rest of the group burst into laughter.
Honestly, I thought it was pretty inappropriate, and I’m surprised more people weren’t calling him out for it. At the same time, what made the whole thing even more awkward was that Priya had already revealed they were rekindling things since leaving the villa.
Now Priya has responded herself.
She commented underneath a post about the moment with a laughing face emoji.
To me, that says she either didn’t take it seriously at all, or she thought the whole thing was funny. I actually think it’s nice that she didn’t turn it into unnecessary drama. Maya made it pretty clear where she stood, and Priya seemed happy to laugh along with everyone else.
