Jasmine has finally addressed not congratulating Julia on winning Love Island.
I saw this started during Monday’s finale when Lorenzo and Julia were declared champions and took home the prize money. They won over Kavan and Jasmine, who came second.
Right after the announcement, Lorenzo and Julia got warm congratulations as the other Islanders rushed over to give them a hug.
However, sharp-eyed viewers noticed that second-placed Jasmine looked like she skipped hugging Julia, even though she gave Lorenzo a hug.
Honestly, I can understand why everyone was talking because it definitely looked like she skipped her in the moment.
Now Jasmine has stepped in and commented under a video about it, saying, “Stop! I’d never ignore anybody”.
I think getting called jealous over a brief clip must be so frustrating, especially if it didn’t actually happen.
What stood out to me is how fast a simple camera angle can make a situation look completely different from reality. I actually think getting accused of ignoring someone while millions of people watch must be really tough to deal with.
