Ice Spice is being really shady about Latto’s retirement announcement.
It really surprised me when Ice decided to step in and leave a comment under a post about it that just said, “Interesting.”
To me, this is so confusing because they previously fell out, but then they made friends and even dropped a song together last year. I can’t work out if Ice is saying she’s glad her rival is leaving or if she is just curious about what happens next.
The big surprise came when Latto shared that her fourth album, Big Mama, will be her final project. She thanked her fans for everything, but it’s still a shock because she is doing so well and is even expecting her first kid soon.
Personally, I feel like this might just be a break to focus on being a mother, but at the same time, it’s really wild to think about her retiring after such a big year.
Right now, her fans are sad, but with Ice’s response, we still have no idea which group she’s in.
Either way, everyone is waiting for the album to drop on May 29th to see if there are more clues about her decision. It is definitely going to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year especially because we all want to know if she’s actually retiring.
