Chloe Bailey has responded after Jaguar Wright called her out for mocking her with her Halloween costume.
Chloe dressed as Jaguar, wearing a T-shirt with her face on it and reenacting comments Jaguar had previously made about her.
Jaguar then shared a video saying someone had mistaken the picture for Halle Bailey. She showed a photo from her first photoshoot, taken when she was 23, and suggested Chloe’s image was being modelled on hers.
She said, “They get the image that they know will work for the public. And then they keep creating replica after replica in real time. Shout out to Chloe Bailey.”
Honestly, I think that’s quite a leap from a Halloween costume. Chloe was deliberately dressing as Jaguar, so of course there was going to be a resemblance.
But I also wouldn’t say there was no dig involved. Reenacting someone’s comments about you sounds like you’re having a laugh at their expense, even if you don’t mean it seriously.
Jaguar later commented underneath a post, “I’m bored of all of this at this point”.
Now Chloe has replied underneath a post about that comment, writing, “I’m just having fun”.
I believe she was enjoying herself, but I think she knew the costume would get a reaction, especially from Jaguar.
