Nicole Scherzinger has spoken out about BTS ignoring her when she tried to get a photo with them.
In the clip, Nicole is standing alongside the members, but they barely seem to acknowledge her. People started calling the interaction rude and asking whether female idols would get away with doing the same thing.
Honestly, I can understand why it looked awkward. If someone appears to be waiting for a photo while everyone carries on around them, it’s easy to think they’re being brushed off.
And I agree that people can be much harder on female celebrities over small interactions like this. A facial expression or a missed greeting can become a whole argument about their attitude.
But Nicole has now explained the moment herself. Underneath a post about the video, she wrote, “We got the photo! It just looks bad on this video”.
I think that’s a pretty clear reason to stop calling them rude over this. Nicole was actually there, and she’s saying the video gave people the wrong impression.
Although, I do see others saying that she’s making it up that they took the photo, and that she’s just trying to save face because the moment was embarrassing.
