Ed Sheeran has broken his silence after his cousin denied being jealous of him.
I saw that Jethro was discussing their ongoing disagreement when he directly addressed people accusing him of being jealous of Ed’s success.
He said: “Tell your fans to leave me alone and stop coming for me, saying I’m jealous. I do not want to have anything you have.”
The host immediately questioned why Ed’s fans should leave Jethro alone when he keeps publicly calling Ed a coward.
But Jethro doubled down, and even said that he’s more talented than Ed.
Honestly, I think that’s what makes the jealousy part so interesting. Jethro is adamant that he doesn’t want Ed’s life or success, but he’s also openly comparing their abilities.
He claimed Ed copied one of his raps and used it on stage for 10 years. When the host asked if he thinks he’s more talented than Ed at rapping and writing, Jethro replied: “Most certainly.”
And Ed clearly saw the interview. Underneath a video of it, he simply wrote: “Speechless at this point”.
I actually think Ed is over the whole thing at this point. It must be pretty annoying to have a family member constantly talk about you like this, so I can understand why he’s at the end of his tether.
