Cody Hawken has reacted after Mikayla Nogueira called the day their divorce was finalised “the happiest day of her life.”
Mikayla publicly celebrated their marriage officially ending, making it clear that she sees the divorce as something positive rather than sad.
Honestly, that wording immediately got people talking. Calling your divorce the happiest day of your life is much stronger than simply saying you are ready to move on.
It also suggests she had emotionally left the marriage long before everything became official.
At the same time, I can understand why somebody might feel relieved when a long and difficult process finally ends. Divorce does not always have to be presented as two people being heartbroken.
What stood out to me is that Cody did not stay silent while Mikayla celebrated publicly.
He commented underneath a post about her words and simply wrote, “Same”.
That one word completely changed the energy. Instead of Mikayla celebrating alone, Cody made it clear that he is equally happy the marriage is officially over.
I actually think his response shows there is still tension between them. He could have ignored the post, but he wanted everyone to know that the relief was mutual and Mikayla was not the only one ready to move on.
