North West has called out Embreigh after she appeared to pretend she was on the phone to avoid speaking to a fan.
A video that’s been going around online shows a fan approaching Embreigh at a shopping mall to ask a quick question. Embreigh has her phone up to her ear and says, “I’m sorry I’m on the phone,” while looking visibly annoyed. The way she’s holding the phone made me think she wasn’t actually on a call.
Honestly, I can understand why Embreigh might not want to stop for everyone, especially because she’s still so young. But to me, pretending to be on the phone wasn’t the best way to handle it.
I actually think a quick “sorry, not right now” would’ve come across much better.
After the clip started getting loads of attention online, North West joined the conversation herself.
She commented underneath a post about the moment, saying, “she was definitely not on the phone”.
North was probably just joking around and didn’t mean anything bad, but I think most people agree with her and think that Embreigh was definitely ignoring the fan.
