Tom Cruise has reacted after his daughter Suri removed his surname from her name.
I saw that Pennsylvania records show Suri registered as Suri Noelle in 2024, during her freshman year at University.
Because voters have to use their official names, this suggests Suri did not simply pick a different name for university. She appears to have formally removed the surname.
Another source said Suri and Tom have been estranged since she was seven.
Honestly, after that many years apart, I doubt she made this decision overnight.
What stood out to me is how quietly she did it. Suri did not announce the change or criticise Tom online.
People only found out through official records.
Now one source has revealed how Tom feels and said: “Tom is furious that this got out to the public. He is saying it makes him look like a bad person, when nobody really knows the full story”.
I actually think his response is why people are questioning this even more.
He seems focused on how the decision makes him look, while I keep wondering what made Suri feel she no longer wanted his name.
