Jan pronounced as Yan
Jan Ravnik has responded after being filmed saying something mean about Julianne Huff during Dancing With the Stars.
It happened after Jan and Tatyana Ali performed their routine to Easy as Life from Aida. In the skybox, Julianne spoke to Tatyana before teasing their scores and sending the show to a commercial break.
But Jan’s smile quickly dropped. He appeared annoyed, said something away from the microphone and turned his back to the camera.
Viewers started trying to work out what he had said by reading his lips. Some thought he was directing a mean comment at Julianne, while others had a different interpretation. The exact words remain unclear, but this moment completely overshadowed the show.
And this wasn’t their first awkward moment. Just a week earlier, Julianne joked about Jan missing out on a People magazine award nomination, and made comments about his Halloween makeup and dental work.
Now Jan has addressed the latest moment himself. Underneath a post about the incident, he simply wrote, “Nonstory”.
I can see why he’d want to dismiss it, because he’s been getting a lot of backlash. I guess he wanted to come forward, deny it, and just leave it there.
