Maya Jama has reacted after King Kenny addressed the romance rumours between them on Capital Extra’s Breakfast show.
Obviously, they grew close while filming Celebrity Traitors, but speculation picked up after Kenny was pictured leaving Maya’s London flat following two nights there after the finale.
Host Robert Bruce brought up the pictures and asked what was going on. Kenny initially played it down, saying, “I don’t know, man.”
When asked if they ever discuss the rumours, Kenny said they just laugh about it. He then said: “That’s just what happens when you’re in the limelight. You’ve just got to laugh at it and move on.”
I actually think that’s an interesting response. Kenny hasn’t confirmed anything romantic, but he’s made it clear the speculation isn’t causing awkwardness between them.
Maya did let him stay at her flat, although she insisted he sleep on the sofa.
Now Maya has joined the conversation too. Underneath a post about Kenny addressing the rumours, she simply commented, “Yep”.
I think that’s a pretty good response because it shows she can make fun of the rumours, and isn’t annoyed by how personal everyone is getting.
