Lucky Blue Smith cried in an emotional update after Nara Smith revealed their 2-year-old daughter has been dealing with the big C.
This started after Nara posted a video on July 1 explaining why she’s been quieter online.
She said, “There’s no easy way to say this, or talk about this,” before sharing that they first noticed something suspicious on Whimsy and took her to the ER, but experts weren’t sure what it was.
Then they went to Whimsy’s paediatrician, and Nara said the doctor got “really quiet and calm.” She said that was the moment her heart dropped.
Whimsy went through more testing before doctors confirmed the diagnosis.
It was so upsetting when Nara said they were told it had moved to other areas and that Whimsy needed treatments right away.
That explains why Nara has been posting less. She’s been balancing hospital life, recovery, her other children, and work all at once.
Now Lucky has stepped in underneath a post about it and said, “The hardest, most emotional time of our lives. We are thankful for the support.”
Honestly, this is heartbreaking. No parent should have to watch their toddler go through something this heavy while trying to hold the rest of the family together.
