Milly has reacted after Megyn Kelly made fun of her during a really strange rant about Supergirl.
This started after Megyn celebrated the movie opening lower than expected and blamed part of the problem on Milly herself.
Supergirl opened around $38 million domestically, even though expectations were closer to $50 million.
But Megyn didn’t just talk about the numbers. She went after Milly’s image, height, interviews, and casting.
She called Milly “very strange looking,” questioned her frame, and said audiences are tired of the forced “girlboss” era.
Megyn also brought up Milly’s past comments about women, then mocked her for being part of the Game of Thrones world.
Now Milly has stepped in underneath a post about it and said, “i’m devastated.”
That comment is clearly sarcastic, and honestly, I get why. Megyn could have talked about the box office without turning it into a personal takedown.
A movie underperforming is one thing. Making fun of Milly is just unnecessary.
To me, Milly’s response worked because she didn’t give the rant a serious reaction. She gave it the exact amount of energy it deserved.
Before you go, I wanna know, did Megyn make it too personal?
