Belmont Cameli has reacted to Ella Bright speaking about being shipped with him, and I’m glad they’re on the same page.
Ella sat down on Owen Thiele’s podcast this week and completely shut down all the romance rumors. When asked if the constant shipping feels weird, she explained that it is actually very funny because she considers him to be family.
Ella said, “No, that’s literally my brother. Also, he has a perfect and beautiful amazing girlfriend who is my angel on earth.”
That was probably the biggest surprise to me because she didn’t just deny the rumours. She went out of her way to praise his actual relationship and make it clear she respects his girlfriend.
She also doubled down on her single life and admitted that she would likely never date an actor or a co-star anyway. It’s completely understandable why she wanted to clear the air since fans have been putting a lot of pressure on them.
Now Belmont has stepped in and left a comment under a video of it that said, “exactly.”
To me, that response says everything. It sounds like they’re completely on the same page, and I honestly think it’s refreshing to see them shut the rumours down without making a big deal out of it.
I think after this video, fans will likely stop shipping them, since it seems so clear that they don’t like each other in that way.
