Nicole Samuel has spoken out about her horrific nightclub moment in Wales.
I actually found myself questioning what happened the more I looked into it.
The incident took place at Casa Nova nightclub in Wales.
Footage showed Nicole on the floor with another woman while people tried to pull them apart and security stepped in.
At first, people claimed it all started because Nicole’s ex-boyfriend, Dylan Williams, was at the club with another woman, making it sound like Nicole had reacted out of jealousy.
But then I realised there was a completely different version of events.
Nicole’s representative said she was actually the victim and didn’t start the confrontation. They said she’d been dealing with “insulting and provocative comments” before everything escalated.
The nightclub also backed Nicole’s account, saying she was the victim of a verbal rant.
Then Nicole stepped in underneath a post about the incident and commented, “Still can’t believe how horrible this was.”
To me, that explains why she’s so frustrated. It’s one thing to have a horrible night out, but it’s another to have millions of people trying to decide what happened based on a few seconds of video footage.
I actually think this is a good reminder that viral clips rarely show the full story. Sometimes the most important part is everything that happened before someone pressed record.
