Fitzy and Charlene Murphy have a very unusual history, and it seems to go back way before Love Island.
When Charlene walked in, the villa immediately noticed there was history there.
Charlene called Fitzy out for acting quieter than expected. She said she thought he would be more lively, but he had gone mellow because he knew her.
Aidan noticed the shift straight away and said, “Fitzy has crumbled already.”
When Aidan asked if there had been any “funny business,” both Fitzy and Charlene said they were “just good friends.”
But even that answer didn’t stop the teasing, because Aidan still floated the idea of them being pals.
According to reports, both are from Ireland, and the pair know each other through work. So it seems like they definitely at least have a history.
And that’s where it gets messy. Lola is back in the main villa thinking they’re exclusive, while Fitzy is in Casa Amor with someone he already knows and clearly reacts differently around.
Honestly, this is exactly the test Fitzy said he wanted, so I’m not surprised that the producers ended up pulling this stunt.
