Cake By Kaity has cried and said things are getting too much during the Sweet Treats by Ashley drama.
This started after Kaity said Ashley posted one of her copyrighted recipes in full.
Kaity said the recipe came from her virtual recipe book, so she felt Ashley shouldn’t have shared it publicly.
Kaity said she tried to handle it privately first. She claimed she gave Ashley 24 hours to respond and only made a public video after not getting an answer.
Ashley then posted screenshots of their messages. That’s where people started questioning the timeline.
According to Ashley, Kaity messaged her around 9 in the morning, but Kaity’s first public video about the issue was posted around 9:30.
I then started wondering how Ashley was really given a full chance to respond if the situation went public about thirty minutes later, and not 24 hours later.
Ashley also said she never bought Kaity’s cookbook and didn’t even know the recipe belonged to her.
Now Kaity has stepped in underneath a post about the drama and said, “This is getting too much”.
Honestly, I get why she feels overwhelmed, but if you bring a private issue online, you have to be able to handle what comes next.
