Cake By Kaity has reacted after Fruity Pebbles got involved in her recipe drama with Sweet Treats by Ashley.
This started after Kaity accused Ashley of posting her Fruity Pebbles cake pop recipe and said her virtual recipe book had copyright protection.
Ashley came back with screenshots, and suddenly, the timeline didn’t match what Kaity first said.
Kaity said Ashley had 24 hours to respond before things went public, but Ashley’s messages made it look like she wasn’t really given that full window.
Ashley also said she never bought Kaity’s cookbook, so she didn’t know the recipe was connected to Kaity.
Kaity later apologized and said she moved too fast. She saw the caption, connected it to her own book, and reacted before having a real conversation.
She also walked back the copyright part after people explained that protecting a recipe book isn’t the same as owning every recipe idea inside it.
Then Fruity Pebbles posted its own cereal cake pop recipe on the official website.
So while everyone debated who could claim the cake pop, the cereal brand basically said, “Here’s our version too”.
Now Kaity has stepped in underneath a post about it and said, “I can laugh at this”.
Honestly, that was the best move. After the drama got serious, laughing with the brand makes her look way nicer.
