Millie Bobby Brown has spoken out on Louis Partridge being stuck up to her during a new interview.

This started when Millie and Louis were asked to name their song of the summer, and the clip turned into a debate about his tone.

Millie answered “Midnight Sun,” and Louis said he doesn’t know who Zara Larsson is. Millie said it was obvious who Zara is, and Louis disagreed.

Then, when speaking about his favourite song, he said he tried to think of something more “poppy” for Millie to get her head around, and that line made people side-eye him.

Some viewers felt like he sounded pretentious, as if a normal pop answer was beneath him.

To me, it looked more like two friends teasing than a music snob moment.

Still, I get why people were surprised, as it could easily have been interpreted as snobby.

Now Millie has stepped in underneath a video of it and said, “no it’s just banter”.

Honestly, I believe Millie more than strangers online. She was in the conversation, so if she says it was banter, maybe people are stretching it.

But Louis should know the internet will take one line and judge you for years over it. The backlash is getting bigger, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
