Kanye West has called out Skepta for speaking out about North West.
The conversation started after clips showed several adult men getting very close to North, with one man hugging her, even though I felt she appeared to be offering a handshake instead.
The footage quickly sparked debate online, with people questioning whether strangers were respecting her personal space.
Skepta was one of the biggest names to weigh in. He said the way complete strangers try to use North annoyed him, adding that people need to do a better job of protecting the people they love.
Skepta also said people need to learn how to read the room better and said that the way they treated her was wrong.
But instead of agreeing with him, Kanye stepped in underneath a post about the situation and commented, “Mind your own business”.
Honestly, I think that’s what makes this story so interesting. Skepta clearly saw himself as defending North, while Kanye seems to have seen it as someone else publicly commenting on his family. That’s probably why people are so divided over who was actually in the right.
