Taylor Swift barely spoke to Karlie Kloss at her wedding, and their contact was very minimal.
The first thing I wondered was whether they were finally close friends again after everything that had happened over the years.
Karlie and Joshua were among the celebrity guests arriving at Madison Square Garden. They were photographed holding hands as they made their way into the venue.
I was genuinely surprised they were invited at all, especially considering Taylor didn’t attend their wedding in 2018 and they’ve barely been seen together in recent years.
But then I saw another report that made the whole situation make a lot more sense.
One source said, “Although their rift is over and Taylor invited her, they barely spoke at the wedding. It was just a ‘congrats on the wedding’ and nothing more. They are cordial, but it will never be the same as before.”
I actually think there’s something quite mature about that. Not every friendship goes back to how it used to be, and sometimes simply being able to celebrate someone’s big day without any drama is enough.
