Rihanna has just showered Bow Wow with praise after his Tiny Desk Concert, and honestly, I’m surprised more people aren’t.
Bow Wow ran through some of his biggest tracks for his NPR Music Tiny Desk performance, and fans couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he looked like he was having.
I actually found myself wishing the performance was longer because every song seemed to bring back another memory.
I also think it was the perfect way to celebrate his legacy. The performance aired during the 2026 BET Awards, making it the first Tiny Desk Concert ever to premiere on television.
The more I watched it, the more I understood why people were so impressed.
I also think this performance introduced a whole new generation to his music. If you didn’t grow up in the early 2000s, this was probably your first chance to see why Bow Wow had such a massive run.
After it started to take off, Rihanna stepped in underneath a post about the performance and commented, “one of the best ones ever.”
To me, that’s a huge compliment. Tiny Desk has featured so many incredible artists over the years, so hearing Rihanna rank Bow Wow’s performance that highly says a lot.
Before you go, I wanna know, do you think he did a good job with this set?
