Taylor Swift is reportedly annoyed after Sombr used her wedding to promote his new music.
The internet took notice after Sombr posted a video of himself getting dressed in a hotel room while using his new track as the audio.
The timing immediately got people’s attention because Taylor and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations at Madison Square Garden were happening the very same day.
The more I looked through the comments, the more obvious it became that people weren’t just talking about the wedding anymore. They were also sharing his music and trying to work out whether he was attending.
I honestly have to admit it was a clever way to get attention. Whether it was intentional or not, his post suddenly became part of one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.
But according to one source, Taylor isn’t happy about it. They said, “Taylor will not like this. She had a phone ban at the wedding. She doesn’t want anyone using her wedding for clout, and Sombr doing this does seem a little off.”
If that’s true, I can also understand Taylor’s perspective. If you’re trying to keep such a huge day private, the last thing you’d want is people turning it into a marketing opportunity.
